There’s a high demand for fully competent Business Analysts in the industry.
Business Analysts are problem solvers and there’s no shortage of business problems.
Technology also moves quickly, presenting issues such as existing solutions becoming out of support or new vulnerabilities to be solved.
There’s also the need for business processes to change to align with customer demand or new regulations.
All of this speaks to the continued high demand for competent BA professionals to help organisations solve meaningful problems.
Thando spoke with Eno Eka from the Business Analysis School™️ about this in the latest podcast episode.
Eno was awarded one of the Top Business Analysts to watch in 2021 by the IIBA so safe to say she knows her stuff!
Eno shares the following:
- 🔸 Projects are likely to fail when no one is doing business analysis hence there’s always a need for BAs
- 🔸 If you love solving problems and are really great with people, you’d make a good Business Analyst
- 🔸 It’s important to learn the industry and have business acumen to have an impact as a BA
- 🔸 Certifications are important for growth but they are not necessary for landing your first BA role
- 🔸 The demand for Business Analysts is still high and there’s room for more aspiring BAs
